It is legal to tint your car in most states.  However, states that allow window tint have some sort of law regulating how dark your windows can be.  These laws are enforced either by state inspection centers, or officers in the field.

All cars come with a very slight “factory”  tint or color  integrated into the glass which does little to block heat or harmful UV rays. To maximize this protection an after-market film has to be applied.   At Alta Mere we carry a full line of shades that are within state regulations when applied to the factory tinted glass. We will be happy to advise you what is legal in your area.
